Our Story

Don & Jake Stier, Owners | S&S Overhead Door

Over thirty years ago, Don Stier combined his hands-on overhead door experience with his entrepreneurial spirit to launch S&S Overhead Door. Thanks to hard work and determination, the company that he once operated out of a pick-up truck grew into a full-scale operation located in Racine, MN.

Family is a tight thread within the business, and it all started with the name S&S. Don is the proud father of three sons and a daughter. He dreamed of one day when his sons would take over the family business and that's why he chose S&S (Stier & Sons) Overhead Door.

All of the Stier children - Jake, Jared, Jacque, and Colten - and many other family members, have played an integral part in the success of S&S. In 2007, Don's son Jake became a co-owner. Together, they lead a talented team and provide top-notch service with a small-town feel.
